Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text coach as well as costume/set/music design. Although she usually led from the acting group but in the final year of work with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
